Galsworthy died 3 years after signing the book. In excellent clean and bright condition throughout. The book is dedicated by Moore to Lady Cunard, with whom he conducted a long lasting love affair. He writes ” I have come to think of you as an evening fountain under embosoming trees…” the imagery of which Stephen Gooden has captured in his engraving.
